No, we are not sinking! We are running trips all day from 11:00 next Monday, the 3rd May, which is May Day Bank Holiday of course.

Ferry Meadows Country Park will no doubt be heaving with people - which is just what we like to see - and we shall continue with trips into the early evening for so long as there is the demand.

Noraml services, of course, on Saturday and Sunday.

Boat Sale Charges

Many people own boats (they are not all rich!) and many rent moorings in marinas. Many of those marinas will not allow the owner to sell their boat except through the marina's own brokerage. This is unfair and anti-competitive. Please consider signing the petition asking parliament to outlaw the practice -

2010 website now live

Our revamped website for the 2010 season is now up and running at http://www.poshboatz.co.uk/ . There's lots of new information including links to some great videos of our trips. You can also find our 2010 operating timetable on the site.

We shall be at Ferry Meadows again every weekend and school holiday from 27 March until the end of September, weather permitting. This year we are planning longer and further trips out onto the River Nene but at the same fares as last year - so that's even greater value.

We may also run some mid-week trips from the city centre in the summer, and of course we shall be available all season for private and corporate charters and school trips.

Winter Closing 2009 / 2010

We are now closed for the winter.

We shall be open again on Saturday 27 March 2010 and daily throughout the school holidays until Sunday 11 April - providing the weather is OK! Our first departure is usually around 11:00 and our last depends on weather and demand - usually anytime after about 15:00. Times are displayed on our board.

After that we shall be open weekends and school holidays until the end of September. Private Charters are available any day and time throughout the season. We look forward to seeing you.
